ATTY. LINO SORIANO

After my travel to Aklan and after the last project I did for Ate Bella Dimayuga, I received a call from Nova Funeral Homes last week. The Reyes' family, who owns NOVA, St. Matthew and Noah Funeral Homes and their relatives who has been in the funeral services industry for generations has been a long time friend. It is where I used to express my passion. I just finished a project for Wackie , the son of Dr. Fortunato E. Clavano (now deceased), a Cebuano who is originally from Cebu where my great grandfather is glorified for being a national hero.

Last Wednesday, we were informed that the father of our officemate and close friend Alma, Atty. Lino Soriano, died. Kuya Bong, Ate Milette, Alma and me (with Helen, Ivan, Ed and Elbert), takes our lunch together during lunch break for quite a number of years. She is on study leave as of now for the Bar examination this coming September. She now has an angel in heaven, who shall guide her while answering the examination. To Alma and her family, our sincere condolence, in behalf of our barkada.

It's hard to lose love ones. I took care of my Mother for six (6) agonizing months. I watched her die slowly from cancer. Life, however, must go on. I'm sure Alma shall fulfill her father's wish, to become a lawyer.

Herewith are some of the pictures I took, which maybe viewed by Alma's relatives here and abroad:
